The Vallejo Alumnae Chapter's Arts & Letters Committee is excited to announce our next VAC Book Club selection: The Queen of Sugar Hill by ReShonda Tate.

Join us on Sunday, February 15 at 2 p.m. for a Zoom conversation with the author as we explore her powerful novel about the life of Hattie McDaniel—the first Black performer to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Gone with the Wind. 

We invite Sorors, family, and friends to read along and share in an inspiring literary afternoon. The book is available through Amazon, Audible, and local booksellers.
